Integrations

Use the built-in email integration to ingest attachments you receive from vendors, clients, or partners—no manual downloads needed. Imported files are processed immediately.

Create parsing rules

Define when an incoming message should import its attachments using four fields:

• Filter type — choose Sender e-mail is, Subject contains, or Body contains.
• Filter value — one or more values; separate multiples with | (e.g., [email protected]|[email protected]).
• Save in folder — target folder inside Algodocs.
• Extractor — the extractor to run on imported attachments.

Note: Paid subscriptions receive a unique email address for routing. Configure your mail rules/forwards to send qualifying messages to this address.

Create one or more Google Drive integrations to pull documents from specific folders.

Setup

1. Open Integrations → Google Drive and click Add Account to authenticate with Google.
2. Select the Google Drive Folder to watch.
3. Select the destination Algodocs folder.
4. Pick the Extractor to apply, then click Create.

Automation window: Files are fetched from the selected Drive folder every ~3–5 minutes, saved to your chosen Algodocs folder, and processed by the selected extractor. Files are removed from the Google Drive folder after import.

Connect Dropbox to import files from designated folders (you can create multiple integrations for different Dropbox folders).

Setup

1. Open Integrations → Dropbox and click Add Account to authorize Dropbox.
2. Choose the Dropbox Folder to watch.
3. Choose the destination Algodocs folder and the Extractor.
4. Click Create; your integration appears in the list.

Automation window: Files are pulled every ~3–5 minutes, stored in your Algodocs folder, and processed. Files are deleted from the Dropbox folder after import.

Use Zapier to connect Algodocs with thousands of apps. Build no-code Zaps where a Trigger in one app kicks off one or more Actions in others (including sending files to Algodocs).

Connect and build your first Zap

1. Sign in to Zapier and go to My Apps.
2. Click Connect a new account… and search for Algodocs.
3. Authenticate with your Algodocs credentials.
4. Use a pre-made Zap or build your own with the Zap Editor.
